U-Pak keeps all collected waste and recycling within Canada, thus eliminating the cross-border dumping issues and giving our environmentally aware clients peace of mind that all materials are handled in Canada from “Cradle to Grave.” U-Pak recycles over 80% of the material managed, diverting in excess of 400,000 tonnes of material from landfills every year.

U-Pak currently owns and operates two sites: a 15 acres Etobicoke facility and a 12 acres site in
Pickering, both with easy access to the downtown core. At these facilities, U-Pak has a waste transfer building on site which transfers an estimated 400 metric tonnes of waste material a day.
These core centers are separate operating, processing and transfer operations to manage all
the recycled commodities that U-Pak collects.
